The people of St. Anne’s are gracious, loving, vibrant. They are rooted in the doctrine, discipline and worship of Christianity as expressed by The Episcopal Church. They are dedicated to the service of others and to the worship of God. It is truly a gift to get to serve this congregation.
The Episcopal Church is a denomination that has its roots in the deepest part of Christianity; it did not start with a divorce of a certain English King. Rather, its roots can be traced back to at least the 4th Century C.E. The English Church has been in existence since the fall of the Roman Empire and has been present since the first Roman Troops brought Christianity to the island. | |
